Northern Short Story Festival in-person festival postponed until October

We are sorry to tell you that we have made the decision to postpone this summers’ Northern Short Story Festival. The Festival was due to take place on the 30th and 31st May, but due to the current Coronavirus outbreak, which we understand may continue on into the Summer, we have taken the decision to postpone.

We will instead be offering a programme of virtual events the weekend of 30th and 31st May. This is the first time we’ve ever tried this, and we’re excited about it. Not only does it mean that we’ll be able to provide a continuity of short story events for all you story fans out there, it also means that you’ll be able to join us no matter where you are in the world! Details of all virtual events will be announced shortly.

Alongside this, we will be tweeting out a short story a day from our Twitter account every day over the next few weeks. Please follow our Twitter account @noshosto if you would like to read these.

Our ‘in-person’ festival will be organised for the weekend of the 11th & 12th October. We do hope you will be able to join us.
