FRIGHTFEST is a one-day mini-fest of Horror writing in Leeds’ oldest and most haunted Library. From Poe’s Telltale Heart to Carey’s Turn of the Screw, short horror has been keeping readers on the edge of their seat for centuries. Join us in the atmospheric setting of The Leeds Library, rumoured to have several ghosts of its own, for an afternoon of uneasy ghosts, telltale hearts and haunted mansions.

Fancy dress encouraged but not compulsory.
